Team Canada Announcement: 13th World Deaf Golf Championships
On behalf of Golf MDSA, under Manitoba Deaf Sports Association, we would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to Manitoba‘s Ryan Mobberley and Tylo Broszeit on being selected to represent Team Canada to 13th World Deaf Golf Championships taking place in Birmingham, England on 7th – 15th August 2020.
Canadian Deaf Sports Association (CDSA) has sent an official memo to Provincial Deaf Sports Organizations (PDSO) confirming Team Canada Golf team:
“With the 13th World Deaf Golf Championships taking place in Birmingham, England on 7th – 15th August 2020, we are proud to introduce Team Canada 2020 for Team Canada Golf who will be joining 20 countries:
Men’s Elite: BOWIE, Russell (ON) | BROSZEIT, Tylo (MB) | MOBBERLEY, Ryan (MB) | ROSE, Jonathan (ON) Women’s Elite: LAOUN, Sasha (QC) | RAMSAY, Erin (AB)
Men’s Seniors: MARCHAND, Denis (QC) | PARKES, Mike (BC) | PROCTOR, Dale (BC) | TURPIN, Alain (QC)”
Canadian Deaf Golf Association has been officially disbanded and becoming an “umbrella” under CDSA as of December 31, 2019.
