Joseph Comte

Technical Director

Hi there! My name is Joseph Comte and I’m the Technical Director for MDSA.  I have been on the MDSA Board since 1993.  I was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, moved to Winnipeg as a toddler and have been raised here since. In addition, I am and have been an athlete under MDSA since 1985.

I am actively involved in the following sports:

• 2000 to present – Manitoba Deaf Darts
• 1980’s to present – Manitoba Deaf Curling
• 1980’s to present – Manitoba Deaf Baseball
• 2008 to present – Manitoba Deaf Golf

I have participated in numerous provincial championships and national championships.
My best memory is winning a silver medal at the 2015 Deaflympics (Curling).
